They also typically have large amounts of calories and sugar, so it would be best to recommend limiting them within any diet.
A typical 200 mL serving of most full-strength colas would contain between 50-100 mg of phosphorus.
The report also indicates that phosphorus additives are absorbed at a higher level compared to natural or plant-based forms. Root beer is different: it has less than 1 milligram of phosphorus and potassium per serving.
